The Punjab Government today decided that Tsunami/Cancer/AIDS Victims would be provided 1% reservation in admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS/BHMS courses in Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Institutes in the state.
According to an official spokesman admission in the case of AIDS victims would be subject to clearance/advice by special Medical Board constituted by the State government.
